The following is a brief 'round up' of some actions from the last meetings.
The International Safety Panel has agreed to develop advice on the Safe Handling of Wood Pellets.
The International Safety Panel and the International Security Panel agreed to collaborate on 'Advice to Terminals and to Seafarers Coming Ashore at Operational Facilities'. This work is now underway.

1. Training of Port Personnel (this group is helping ICHCA International with input into an ILO Working Group)
2. Safe Operation of Straddle Carriers
3. Safe Handling of Flat Racks
4. Safe Handling of Steel Cargoes
5. Container Top Safety
6. Safe Lashing of Deck Containers
The above groups (2-6) are assisting in the development of new documents in the ICHCA International Port Safety Library which currently has 61 completed documents, with a further 11 being worked on.
